Australia’s biggest sports podcast is leaving the studio behind. For one night only, Dan Does Footy takes over Margaret Court Arena in an arena-scale spectacle set to become the largest live sports podcast event in ANZ history.

Timed for the eve of Melbourne’s AFL Grand Final public holiday, thousands of fans will descend on Melbourne Park for what is shaping up to be a full-scale festival of footy. This is not a live recording. This is not a panel show. This is Dan Does Footy – and it has been built to match the intensity of the biggest weekend on the football calendar.

Expect very special guests, fan-driven interaction, unmissable moments and surprise performances, all delivered through arena-level production that takes the raw energy of the game and amplifies it on a scale the country has never seen before.

In Dan Gorringe’s own words, fresh off a record-breaking 48-hour ultra kicking challenge: “We thought, why not go for another.” That ambition is exactly what has defined Dan Does Footy’s rise to the top of Australian sports media – and on Grand Final week, it all comes to life on the biggest possible stage.
