What should you expect at the Magicians Table?
You’ll be seated at one of 10 tables of 12 and treated to some of the best close-up magic the country has to offer at your table. Drinks will be served to your table and music will be played by our in-house musician throughout the evening. From the moment you enter you will be transported to the private warehouse and performance space of our dead carnival owner, Dieter Roterburg, and you’ll take part in a story of love, loss and mystery. Expect a night like no other.
Is there an age requirement or door policy?
There is – you need to be 18 years old to buy a ticket and attend the show. The Magicians Table is designed for an adult audience.
Content & Themes
The Magicians Table has been created to be suitable for most audiences. Please read the following to ensure the show is right for you.
The show contains:
- A mild reference to death. The show centres around the wake of a deceased character.
- Some strong language.
There will be no:
- Flashing lights.
- Gory or scary content.
- Gunfire, bangs or loud noises.
- Clowns.

Where is the experience?
The Magicians Table is located at Spiegel Haus Melbourne, 217 Lonsdale St, Melbourne VIC 3000.
What is the seating like?
Designed for intimacy and immersion, the show unfolds throughout the room; with guests seated at ten semicircular tables – each accommodating 12 guests. A speakeasy reimagined; every seat offers a magical view of the performance ensuring a captivating experience from every angle. Seating for The Magician’s Table is reserved and assigned prior to the performance. Requests to sit with other parties must be made in advance by calling the Box Office located at 217 Lonsdale Street, with additional access available via the Celestial Avenue entrance. Changes cannot be accommodated at the venue.
